The City Accountant Office is under the supervision of Mrs. Lolita P. Eway and is designated to take charge of both the accounting and internal audit in the local government unit of Dipolog.
Further, the City Accountant Office installs internal audit system, and provides a reliable records of all information regarding all government transactions. They also supply timely information on the financial conditions and operations of the City Government of Dipolog. To perform their mandated obligations, the City Accountant Office provides and renders services and assistance to various offices under the umbrella of the City Government of Dipolog.
The City Accountant Office also prepares and submits financial statements of all government-related transactions; prepares statement of cash advances or liquidations, salaries, allowances, reimbursements and remittances; posts individual disbursements to the subsidiary ledger and cards, and maintains individual ledgers for individuals and employees relating to payrolls and deductions; and prepares and submits all other documents relative to the accounting obligations of the City Government of Dipolog.
To perform these functions efficiently, the City Accountant Office serves the city under its various divisions. And under these divisions are different sections aids the LGU-Dipolog to achieve a systematic documentation and recording of all its transactions. The divisions and sections are as follows:

C. Administrative Division
D. Records Division
Further, the City Accountant Office reviews all supporting documents required in all government transactions and other related matters to ensure completeness of requirements. The office also keeps records and post details of purchased furniture's, equipments and disposals conducted by the City Government of Dipolog. The City Accountant Office also keep accounts for all issued requests for obligations including fixtures and any other transactions which involved the use of the city's fund.
